  • Take plenty of water and some snacks with you.

In terms of the time of the day, we would recommend avoiding a slot that is later in the day or too early in the mornings. The best slots are arguably the ones in the evening – this slot allows you to enjoy several relaxing hours. Some people also book their slots depending on whether they want to watch the sunset or the Northern Lights.

Although Blue Lagoon is a great place to visit all around the year, you might want to book your tickets based on the opening hours. The opening hours are till 23:00 and 21:00 in summer and winter, respectively.

It is not mandatory to carry flip flops while visiting Blue Lagoon, Reykjavik as the lagoon itself has naturally smooth silica at the bottom.
